I have the heart of an old woman and I'm proud

There's nothing quite like a trip to a garden centre at the weekend. I love wandering through the aisles and looking at all the beautiful flowers. More often or not, I'm at a garden centre with my Nan and Grandad. I love it so much that it must be true, I'm an 80-year-old woman in the body of a 22-year-old. On Saturday, we went Snowhill garden centre. It's a pretty big garden centre that's about a 15-minute car journey. I've been going there ever since I was a kid, so I jumped at the chance to go this weekend. The first thing I noticed, THE CHRISTMAS DECORATIONS ARE ALREADY UP. Autumn may be here but when you visit a garden centre, it's already Christmas. Through some red gates with reindeers on, is the Christmas display. I was totally drawn to the bright coloured tinsel, which I shrouded myself in and of course, the bright twinkling Christmas lights. I'm a sucker for pretty things, so I had to look at these. I'm already eagerly awaiting the time to put up Christmas decorations with my Nan and Grandad - my mum prefers to do them herself because she hates putting them up and taking them down.

We went through all the displays, I love looking at the different colour themes for the decorations. I'm a huge fan of the silver/light blue decorations, they're all so beautiful and usually covered in some sort of iridescent glitter. After looking at all the decorations, we continued into the garden centre and looked at some of the other products, most of which are wasted on me. My sister has a habit for photobombing my pictures, and my grandad too, apparently.

We popped into the tea room for a piece of cake, you just have to, right? The cafe has a costa and a brand new selection of ice cream milkshakes that I just had to try. I had the strawberry one with strawberry sauce, whipped cream, sprinkles and a flake.

These flowers may be fake but they were too pretty not to take a picture.

I swear, the more garden centres I visit, the older I become. I can't wait to be old, I can do everything I do now and not be judged for it. Bring on being 80-years-old.

Thank you for visiting my blog and taking the time to read this post.
